About this project

Defibrion, a leading provider of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), faced significant challenges with their order management process. Orders received via email were manually ingested into their AFAS system, which was time-consuming and prone to errors.

The challenge

Defibrion, a leading supplier of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), struggled with an inefficient and error-prone order process. Orders received by email were entered entirely manually into AFAS. Every relevant value had to be retyped, which was time-consuming and significantly increased the risk of errors.

Our solution: Pulse

To optimise this process, we developed Pulse: a smart application that automates and streamlines Defibrion's order management. Pulse connects seamlessly to both the email system and AFAS, forming the link between incoming orders and the back office.

  • Automatic order processing: orders are recognised, read and forwarded to AFAS directly from emails.
  • Smart validation: built-in checks prevent incomplete or incorrect orders from entering AFAS.
