Royal Apollo is a global market leader in conveyor systems. We built a Quotation Agent that turns unstructured customer documents into a clear summary, a specification recommendation, and targeted follow-up questions - in under three minutes.

The challenge

Royal Apollo Group is a Dutch family-owned company and a global leader in the design and production of conveyor systems, including spiral conveyors. Configuring the right system is a detailed process: factors such as conveyor speed, elevation change, material type, product weight, and climate conditions all play a role.

The problem is that the information customers provide is rarely structured. It arrives across multiple documents, often written in different languages, and needs to be manually interpreted before a sales engineer can begin preparing a quotation. That process takes significant time - time that could be spent on something more valuable: advising the customer on the best possible solution.

Royal Apollo's ambition was clear. Their sales engineers should be advisors, not analysts.

Our solution

Stekz developed a Quotation Agent tailored to Royal Apollo's sales workflow. In under three minutes, the agent:

  • Analyzes all submitted customer documents, regardless of format or language
  • Generates a clear summary and an initial specification recommendation
  • Identifies gaps and formulates targeted follow-up questions when essential information is missing
  • Delivers the output in a structured format, ready for the sales engineer to act on
